The FSCJ 207th - 2YC3 Conference Planning Team is please to announce a national competition for the 207th - 2YC3 National Mole Day Contest.
The contest is open to all students in K-12 and college students especially those taking a chemistry course or a physical science course.
There are three divisions:
College Students
High School Students (including Junior High 7-9)
Elementary School Students (K-6)
There is no entry fee, and also all high school and college chemistry students may attend the conference free.
All entries must be received by Tuesday October 7th.
The Posters/Artifacts will be displayed in the Exhibits/Refreshment Area North Campus's E-235 for the two days of the conference.
Judging will be done by all the registered college chemistry faculty attending the conference.
Each conference participant will be given on ballot in their conference packet, and they will vote for 1st (5 points), 2nd (3 points), and 3rd place (1 points) in each division.
The students with the highest vote counts will be declared the winners. Judging closed after the 2nd day lunch in E-235 at 2:00 pm.
The conference participant will deposit their votes in E-235 at the registration desk at any time during the conference up to 2:00 pm Saturday.
All entries must be received by 5:00 pm Tuesday October 7th.
